industrial gearbox manufacturing and assembly for heavy-duty drive systems

Inside the KNGEAR Gearbox Manufacturing Facility

This page provides a visual look at KNGEAR gearbox manufacturing in Changzhou, China. As a China gearbox manufacturer, KNGEAR uses the equipment, components and workshop resources shown below for custom gears and industrial gearbox projects.

Rather than relying on generic factory claims, the purpose of this page is to show the physical manufacturing resources used for machining, gear production, assembly and inspection.

Recent Factory Photos: Machining, Assembly, Inspection and Shipping

The following photographs were taken in the gearbox production environment and show current workshop conditions, machining resources, housings, assembly work, inspection and shipment preparation.

Gear Cutting and Grinding

Industrial gearbox performance depends heavily on tooth geometry and finishing quality. KNGEAR uses dedicated gear manufacturing equipment for operations such as hobbing and gear grinding. Hardened gears can be finish-ground where the project requires tighter tooth geometry and surface finish.

For a closer look at the process, see Gear Works and our CNC Gear Machining article.

Large-Component CNC Machining

Gearbox housings, shafts, covers and mounting interfaces require accurate machining so bearings and gears remain correctly aligned during assembly. CNC turning, milling and boring are used according to component size and project requirements.

Assembly and Fit-Up

After machining and inspection, gearbox components are assembled according to the project drawing and process requirements. Bearing fits, shaft alignment, gear contact and lubrication arrangements are checked as part of the assembly process.

Inspection and Quality Verification

Inspection requirements depend on gearbox type and customer specification. They can include dimensional measurement, gear measurement, hardness verification, tooth-contact checks, runout checks and other project-specific inspections before final assembly or shipment.

Our Gear Manufacturing Equipment page explains how gear grinding, hobbing, CNC machining and dimensional inspection support production quality.

Engineered-to-Order and Replacement Work

The same manufacturing resources support both new custom gearbox projects and replacement work for existing industrial equipment. For replacement projects, drawings, nameplates, samples and installation measurements can be used to define critical interfaces before manufacturing.
